What an exciting day! This morning, several friends of mine received their copy of "Cricket's Capers". I can"t wait to get my copy. I was so nervous when I realized the book was being read by others for the first time. I felt so many different emotions: excited, anxious, nervous, worry, and happiness.
Then, while sitting on the porch wondering if "Cricket's Capers" would be enjoyed by readers, the most amazing text came through on my phone from Kathy Antley. Kathy sent me a picture of her son, "Braden AKA "B", one of my kindergarten students from Dutch Fork Elementary School. She had just read "Cricket's Capers" with B, and he loved it. Mission accomplished: A child hugging a book, and loving to read! I couldn't feel more content.
I hope I put many smiles on the faces of everyone who reads "Cricket's Capers". That truly is a dream come true!
Happy Reading!
